Built in 2009 in the heart of Hunt Country and adjacent to many Greenbelt protected parcels with numerous trails Indian Meadow Farm offers a state of the art fully insulated Morton Equestrian facility with 36 stalls and an 81' by 180' indoor arena and a 100' by 200' outdoor riding ring. We are proud to be the home of Cressbrook Stables, a well-known hunter/jumper training program and Carrie Layte Stables, which specializes in Morgan horses for all divisions. In addition, we offer lessons to the public for all ages and abilities, summer camp, horse shows, birthday parties and on-farm leasing.
Indian Meadow Farm is situated on 21 pastoral acres, including our own hay fields. We also have abundant turnout with 15 paddocks and direct access to multiple riding trails. The evolution and construction of Indian Meadow Farm is chronicled on the Project Status page.
Behind the barn there is conservation land that has spectacular views and great trails. We're directly across the street from the beautiful 45 acre Indian Hill Farm Reservation, an Essex County Greenbelt property with great trails and bridle paths.
The Myopia Hunt crosses over our land on a gorgeous Fall afternoon.
We also abut several hundred
acres of conservation land and trails in horse friendly West
Newbury. Indian Meadow Farm will be focusing on hunters,
