Boarding at Indian Meadow

We offer full service board in a state of the art facility.  Our entire team, including our caretakes, are experienced adults. You can feel confident that your equine friend and athlete is being cared for properly and kindly. While most of our boarders are in training with either Cressbrook or Carrie Layte Stables, we offer a limited number of stalls to customers interested in boarding only.  We are fortunate to have a wonderful group of customers who make the barn a fun and interesting place to be!

Boarding at Indian Meadow includes:

  • Use of all facilities
  • 12x12 bedded stall cleaned daily
  • Hay 4x per day
  • Up to 9 quarts of grain per day (AM & PM, noon feeding if necessary)
  • Turnout, booting and blanket changes and fly spray
  • Night check 7 days a week
  • Minimum 1/2 day turnout
  • Assisting vet and farrier for routine care
  • Rotational worming
  • Administering routine supplements or medications
  • Care provided by consistent, caring, professional staff
  • Full board $1050.00 per month
  • Boarding in small barn $700.00 (limited availability-currently full)
  • Lay-up board at home barn $650.00

Indian Meadow Farm LLC Boarding Policies

  • Safety and good horsemanship are the top priorities always
  • All riders must wear ASTM-approved helmets when mounted
  • Jumping is allowed only under an instructor's supervision.  Canter and trot poles are OK.
  • No smoking on the property.
  • Barn hours are 9AM-8PM Tuesday-Friday, 8AM-6PM Saturday and Sunday.  We are closed Mondays with the exception of Monday holidays in which case we are open for boarders to ride.
  • Any outside trainers must be MA licensed and insured, and have written permission from Indian Meadow Farm LLC.
  • Horses are grained between 6-7AM and 4-5PM.
  • Our regular vet is Parrott Equine.  We are happy to accommodate other practices with 72 hours notice. 
  • Horses must be wearing halters and lead shanks when being handled.
  • All dogs are to be leashed.
  • Please remember we are all sharing the facility and be courteous and respectful of each other, and pick up after yourself!
